The Person

  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join its growing team in Frankfurt.
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in flooring sales, preferably within the commercial sector, selling into architects, designers, and specifiers.
  • Alternatively, experience selling premium furniture, interior products, or high-end building materials into the specification market.
  • Strong knowledge of the Frankfurt architectural and design community with an established network.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset, demonstrating resilience and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a structured commercial team of 12 Salespeople in Germany.
  • You must be comfortable selling face-to-face and helping ensure designs incorporate the client’s brand.
  • You will ideally be used to selling a brand associated with quality, service, and value and whose products have unique features and benefits.
  • You should feel comfortable working with and servicing the local flooring installation community within Frankfurt City and the surrounding areas.
  • Fluency in German and a passable level of English are essential.

The Role

The Sales Executive will report to the Commercial Head and be responsible for driving sales and expanding the business presence in the Frankfurt market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers to ensure our client is their preferred flooring solution.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities, targeting commercial projects across various industries such as retail, hospitality, and corporate offices.
  • Conducting client meetings and presentations to showcase the client's product range, sustainability credentials, and design capabilities.
  • Providing technical advice and support on flooring solutions, ensuring seamless project specifications and installations.
  • Tracking market trends and competitor activity, feeding back insights to contribute to strategic planning.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing to our client's continued success and growth in Germany.
