Job Description

Our client a UK based group and market leader designs, installs and manages Wi-Fi networks required to deliver ultra-fast broadband connectivity together with other critical products and services to student accommodation in major university cities across mainland Europe, the private rental sector and small and medium-sized enterprises, to include business parks, industrial estate and serviced offices, shared houses, and flats.

In order to further enhance its European expansion, the company is now looking for an experienced, ambitious, and dynamic sales individual as

Business Development Executive,

for the DACH region, to be based remotely in Germany.

The Company is looking for a long-term relationship and committed individual to join its sales team. The candidate will have a great opportunity to join a company with a fast-growing platform and help make it grow even faster.

Proven record of success in sales and account management, ideally gained from within the Wireless industry or another technology sector.

Willing and able to source new business. Have a good knowledge of the market in order to spot and track fresh sales opportunities. Excellent business development skills and sales acumen.

  • Able to work with building floor plans in close cooperation with company pre-sales for them to plan a wireless design solution for the client, which you will subsequently sell.
  • Strong communication, sales and influencing skills.
  • Initiative-taker, success and target driven, good negotiating skills, able to exercise independent judgment and initiative, and develop and build rapport quickly.
  • Go-getter type, with the ability to work independently, streetwise, able to think on one’s feet. Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, and able to work in a team.
  • Willing to go and meet customers including remotely on building and construction sites, when needed.
  • Used to long sales cycles and projects.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Home-based.


  • Grow client accounts by developing ongoing commercial strategies, acquiring new clients, and extending the company’s customer portfolio throughout the region.
  • Sell full product and services portfolio using a consultative sales approach into high level contacts within construction and facility engineering companies, building and property developers.
  • Meet sales targets as set out in the annual Commission Plan.
  • Team with pre-sales teams and product management throughout the sales process to ensure that the designed solutions meet customer requirements in order to win business.
  • Maintain full revenue responsibility for managed accounts, driving growth by increasing profitability throughout & accurately forecasting volume, value, gross margin, and account budgets.
  • Ensure all internal teams are working towards service excellence. Work closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth delivery and a positive service transition for new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with company wireless hardware vendors to understand the latest developments within the deployed technology. Partake in free training provided by company suppliers in order to expand own knowledge of the product set and its capabilities.
  • Work with the existing commercial models to ensure payback requirements meet company standards.
  • Generate creative input for marketing campaigns.
  • Attend trade fairs.
